EOI Retakes: Adair HS will offer students who were not successful on their Spring EOI exams a retake opportunity on December 2nd and 3rd. Teachers are working with those students now to give our students the best strategies for passing.
Native American Scholarships: On December 11th a Cherokee Nation representative will be in the Library starting at 10 am to explain the scholarship process to 11th and 12th grade NA students.
Financial Aid: There is a great resource provided by The Oklahoma State Regents OCAP office. There are FAFSA timelines and links, ideas, STIPEND available for a college countdown event and much, much more.
Free professional development opportunity for teachers. HP has partnered with ISTE and the New Media Consortium (NMC) to offer free online mini-courses for innovative approaches to STEM education--the HP STEMx Catalyst Academy.
These are four-week mini-courses on topics such as Remote Labs, Maker Spaces, Sports Performance, Gaming, and App Design. Most course are starting November 15th, but registration is open now.
